Delicious weight loss: Light lentil soup with carrots
Lentils aren’t just an absolute superfood, they can also help you lose weight. This light soup is easy to prepare and super healthy!
And here’s how it’s done:
- Wash the carrots and cut them into large chunks. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan, add the carrots and lentils and fry briefly. Add vegetable broth and milk and bring to a boil. Simmer over low to medium heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Blend the soup with an immersion blender until you get the desired consistency. Here you can decide for yourself whether you want to taste the soup thinly or with a few pieces. Season to taste with salt, pepper and chili flakes.
- Serve the soup in four bowls, place a spoonful of yogurt in the center and sprinkle with fresh parsley. If you like, you can add a toasted slice of your favorite bread for dipping.
Point: Of course, you can also easily prepare this vegan dish. Simply replace milk and yogurt with a plant-based alternative, eg. B. from oats or soybeans. If you’re making a larger batch, this soup also freezes well and thaws as needed.
For many years, lenses received little attention. For some time they have been enjoying increasing popularity and rightly so!
