Recipe for delicious carrot stew: This soup tastes like grandma’s

The hearty soup with sliced ​​carrots, diced potatoes, and a hearty, spicy meat ingredient isn’t difficult to make, tastes delicious, and doesn’t cost much! The price for a large jar is just under five euros – and you can eat it for two days.

Ingredients: You need 1 kg of carrots, half a kilogram of potatoes, 500 grams of minced meat, an onion, a clove of garlic, about two to three liters of vegetable broth, salt, pepper, paprika powder and chopped chives.

Preparation: Peel the carrots and potatoes, cut the carrots into thin slices and the potatoes into small cubes. Pour into a saucepan and pour the broth over it.

The carrot stew is completed with a mixture of minced meat and onions

You need enough vegetable broth so that the liquid is about an inch above the vegetables. Then cook until the vegetables are cooked. Meanwhile, heat a little oil in a separate pan, add the diced onion and the minced garlic clove and sauté. Then the minced meat comes in, is fried until crumbly and seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika powder. When the vegetables are cooked, add the ground meat and onion mixture to the vegetable soup.

Mix everything well, taste. Finally, the chive rolls are incorporated, they give a little more to the stew. It is better to let the finished soup stand for 30 minutes, then it tastes better. It goes well with fresh bread. Enjoy your lunch!
